Social Media has helped families, social workers, and the government in discerning information during calamities by giving information that spreads fast. It helps to communicates to our relatives/love ones, helps social workers to be informed and study the environment while the government may informed and to be informed of how major causes that the calamities do. Compared to the past media where TV, radio, and print are provided, this past media has only one-way communication and that is to informed OR to be informed, while social media has two-way communication and that will be to informed AND to be informed.
